Thanks to everyone for coming! If you are looking for photos click here.
The date is set and the invitations have been sent out for Sherry and John’s wedding at the Mazama Ranch House in Mazama, WA. We wish we had room in the ranch house for all our friends and family, but because space is limited, we are inviting family to stay in the ranch house itself and are recommending a range of other great places to stay in the immediate area for our friends.
Going to Mazama? Fantastic! We’re sure you’ll have a wonderful time. Mazama has nearly limitless natural beauty, but it has very limited restaurant options. The Mazama Country Store has fresh-baked pastries and coffee (fair trade of course) for breakfast and makes tasty sandwiches to take on a day hike for lunch. There are also quite a few casual restaurants, two brew pubs, and, yes, grocery stores, just a short drive down the road in Winthrop and Twisp.
We would like to thank all of our friends and family who are even thinking of making the trip out to Mazama; we know it’s quite a trek. For us, your presence on our big day is the most generous gift we could ask for. That said, we have registered at both Crate and Barrel and Macy’s.
Directions to the Ranch House:
From Seattle: Take I-5 North 65 miles to SR-20. Take SR-20 East for 120 miles. Through North Cascades National Park. Once you leave the national forest, look for the sign pointing you left towards Mazama. The road will be Lost River Road. The ranch house will be on your right less than a quarter mile down the road, just past a parking lot. 180 miles. Four hours. Beautiful drive.
