We added two new members to the household after getting back from Glacier. The Siamese is called Chinook (Nook) and the calico is called Cascade (Cas). Together we call them “the sisters”. They are about three months old and just came over from eastern Washington a few weeks ago. Cas and Nook are adjusting to their western Washington home fine. Their favorite activities include eating and ambushing each other. Emily is still adjusting to the new pack members.

Finally made it back to Glacier National Park this year. It has been about five years since our last trip. This time my dad and sister met us there. We spent two nights in the backcountry on Bowman Lake in the northwest corner of the park and day hiked up to Brown Pass. Only one grizzly sighting on the trip by dad and Kate. We also managed to avoid any fugitive sightings.
