Caught the late showing of the new Woody Allen movie last night. Sure this is his third movie with Scarlett Johansson but this is not her movie. The real stars are Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz (who plays crazy very well). The movie started off pretty slow. It didn’t seem to be heading anywhere until Cruz’s character comes into the picture. Her’s and Bardem performances, along with plenty of beautifully Spanish scenery, turned this into a really enjoyable picture for me.
We rented In Bruges on Friday night. It was a fun British gangster movie. Now we have some more sights for our list of stuff to see in Bruges when we are there next week.
